Will it really look like the preview?
Yes. The outline you approve is the exact line we sew, which is the finished edge of the pillow. Thickness varies slightly with filling (it's a pillow, not a machined part), and we say so before you pay.
What photos work best?
One clear subject, decent light, and as many pixels as you can get along the longest side. We divide that by the size you pick, so a 2,400px photo is crisp at 12 inches and still good at 16. We tell you before it becomes a blurry regret. Under 600px on the longest side we can't use the photo at all.
How long does it take?
Six to nine business days to your door, and here's where they go: 2–3 days to make it (a real person reviews your design, then it's dye-sublimation printed on both sides, die-cut, sewn, and stuffed by hand), 1 day to get it to the carrier, then 3–5 days with USPS Ground Advantage. We'd rather quote you the slow honest version and beat it. We ship to the contiguous US and DC. Not to Alaska, Hawaii, the US territories or APO/FPO, not yet.
Can I return a custom pillow?
Custom items aren't returnable (nobody else wants a pillow of your dog, your kid, or your car). But if it doesn't match the preview you approved, we remake it free. That's the whole point of the preview.
